ATHLETE CHECKLIST CONTINUED
3. WRESTLING CONTRACT: Due 1st day of practice. Athletes will not be allowed to participate
until this has been read and signed by student and parent.
4. ELIGIBILITY:
Each grade period. Athletes
will not be issued a uniform or be allowed to compete as a member of the team
without achieving the minimum standard for sport participation. This requires the student to have at least
a 2.0 GPA for the most recent quarter grading period.
5. SHOES: You will need wrestling shoes and running
shoes for the first day of practice. IF YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH #1 THROUGH #5 ON

HANDBOOK ATHLETE CHECKLIST The following is a list of items
you will need prior to the official start of the season the second Monday of
November.
1. ATHLETE EMERGENCY FORM: Due 1st day of practice. You will
not be allowed to practice with the team until your parent has filled out all
the information on this form, and obtained a doctor’s signature. This means make a doctors appointment for a
physical as soon as possible. (If you
competed in a fall sport I will need a copy of your physical).
2. EJECTION
POLICY AND STUDENT CONTRACT: Due 1st day of practice. Athletes
will not be allowed to practice with the team unless these forms have been
returned to the coach having been read, understood and signed by the student
and parent. This contract is part of
the emergency form and can be downloaded from this site. |

1. Consistent Practice Attendance:
Each athlete is expected to attend ALL practices! Athletes must avoid
conflicts with daily practice. If the athlete has a valid reason for missing practice
(emergency or illness), the athlete MUST notify the coach prior to the
practice that will be missed!!! ATHLETES FAILING TO FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE MAY
BE HELD OUT OF COMPETITION AT COACH DISCRETION. (Practices are every Monday
through Friday. JV practices are from
3:00 to 5:45 pm and Varsity practices
are from 4:15 to 7:00 pm.)
7. EVERYONE is responsible for
rolling, cleaning, and setting up mats. 8. Health and Safety:
Report any unusual skin rashes immediately.
You will be tired. You will be
sore and you will ache. These are not
injuries. If you are injured see the
trainer as soon as possible. (This is
a contact sport!!) |
